Have you ever wondered what kind of male personality trait gets the most sex?
The answer just may surprise you. But before getting into all of that, let’s explore some of the personality characteristics that, overall, are mental and physical aphrodisiacs for so many women.
Can You Guess Which Personality Traits Lead to the Most Bedroom Action?
OK, so here’s the deal. According to a study that was conducted by some researchers in Australia (that consisted of 3,000 men and 1,500 women), these are the kinds of traits that make women want to do a double-take.
- Emotionally stable
Hmm. Extroverted makes sense because it’s easier to meet people when you’re a people person.
Agreeable? Who’s in the mood to have sex with folks they’re always arguing with?
Conscientious. That’s an interesting one. Basically, that means people who have integrity is someone sexually-appealing.
And then there’s emotionally-stable. Surely, none of us will object to that one (although many people do claim that sex with a “crazy” person is the best kind of sex there is).
But in a study that was published in The British Journal of Psychology, it was revealed that men who have another kind of personality trait have sex more than all of these characteristics combined.
Drum roll, please…
Which Personality Trait Is the “Sexiest”?
For years, most of us have heard that nice guys finish last. Apparently, that’s just a myth because the study indicates that, at least as far as sex is concerned, nice guys actually finish first.
That’s right. According to the study, the nicer a guy’s personality was, the more sex he ended up having (long-term). And get this, not only did he end up having more sex but better sex too! Something else that was interesting was men who were more altruistic (unselfish, caring, generous) also ended up with more casual sex partners (maybe it’s because they “give so much” overall).
And what about the women? What did both studies reveal about their personality traits and ability to appeal to men? Well, the first study indicated that women who were extroverted tended to have more sex. The second study also found that nice women have more and better sex.
You know what all of this means, right? If you’re a really nice person, but it’s been a while since you’ve gotten any, you can’t really put that on how sweet you are. Maybe you need to get out and meet some new people. Maybe because of past relationships, you’ve got a wall up and didn’t even know it.
Whatever the case may be, what isn’t the issue is that you’re “too nice”. And in a media world that oftentimes reports on nothing but the meanies…isn’t that really nice to know!
